Dried Scallop with Golden Mushroom Soup
At first glance, it looks like your average Starchy Sharks Fin Soup (with little traces of Sharks Fin), but you'll be delightfully surprised that the soup is overloaded with lots of the driedscallops. Its so flavorful that one doesn't actually need the black vinegar.
Seafood with Beancurd in Pot
I have two words for this hotpot dish ...... COMPLETELY BLAND.
Sliced Imported Lamb in Leeks
The meat borders between tender and chewey, they managed to coook it in such a way that the gaminess (normally identified with lamb meat) is almost gone. One can hardly identify whether its lamb or beef.
Steamed Lapu Lapu
I'll give this dish a score of 50%. Some parts were nicely steamed while some were a little under.
Complimentary Dessert
We had a choice of either Mango Pudding, Almond Jelly or their version of sweet Buchi Balls. (we opted for the mango pudding)
Its actually more of a gelatin rather than a pudding. And for a mango flavored dessert, its a wonder why all I tasted is that of melon.
